I do apologize for the technical difficulties we are having we're going to go ahead and try to continue and try to fix the problem here shortly okay thank you mr. Woods okay so again again I appreciate everybody's patience while we go through these technical difficulties and fix the order issues here that we're having so again some important dates for everybody to remember all our skull what is Will begin distance learning on August 5th that is next Wednesday so I do want to let everybody know that we are expecting our students to be involved in instructional learning beginning next Wednesday August 5th now as far as our students returning to on campus for live instruction and our school welcoming our students back onto campus that date has been changed to September 8th is after Labor Day we will welcome back our students with an all our campuses again on September 8th so from August 5th through September 4th all our students will be engaged in distance during that time frame so what's new at AMS this year were actually very excited to be letting are all our families know that we are adding one academic program to all our campuses all are brick-and-mortar campuses this year all rk-25 students will actually be taking on technology classes that involve learning about more digital citizenship Internet safety applied digital skills. using Google Suite they will also be learning on Moreland keyboarding and practicing keyboarding skills and computer programming and Robotics also we will be introducing our students and our families to Schoology is a new platform that we will be using on starting mid-august are actually at the end of August August 24th so they will also be learning about schoology our middle school students were very excited for them to be engaged computer science and engineering so are 6th grade students this year will take a semester of computer science and second semester they will we switch over to an engineer so all our 6th graders will be exposed to computer science and engineering the school year now the reason for our students and sister being exposed to both of those is because when they enter 7th grade they will have the option to elect to have computer science or engineering for the entire school year so they will choose one of those tracks when they matriculate to 7th grade and 8th grade now those classes meet three times a week again why are students be well-versed on computer science and engineering which ever track they select they will be seeing those teachers three times per week for middle school students will also learn digital citizenship internet Stacy and applied digital skills using both Google and Microsoft products during that time also just want to let everybody know that our online school our online program we will have the computer sign engineering material and courses integrated into the computer science class now again our campus program please remember we start on August 5th and on August 5th we are starting the school year with all our students disc morning we have learning packets that we will have available for our students beginning on August 5th between the hours of 8:30 and 10 a.m. so again learning packets can be picked up from all brick and mortar schools from 8:30 to 10 a.m. beginning on Wednesday August 5th now these learning packets are also accompanied with learning videos and learning packets and the videos will be available on our school and these are videos that are again our teachers have been working since July 13th to prepare for our students so this is all things to our teachers to that we have these videos available and the learning parents we do want to stress the importance of student attendance now during this time even during distance learning we do have to keep track of student attendance one method we are using to track student attendance is learning packets so we do ask that you make sure you pick one up have your student completed and returned it to the school the following Monday so again learning packets will be distributed on August 5th on Mondays thereafter until we return to our brick-and-mortar campus on September 8th now parents please make sure you return the package we will also have an attendance attendance at station form that will be distributed and given to parents when you pick up the learning packets he's at the station forms were asking parents to report how many hours of instruction participated participated in on the daily basis and we ask that you return that access station form when you returned that learning packets now during distance learning from August 5th through September 4th or teacher will have available office hours should the student have any questions or need assistance on any of the material that has been distributed they can reach out to the teachers those office hours will be posted by the school on ClassDojo and also will be shared with family so please look out for those schedules with office hours for your teachers as again they are working on those right now to ensure that there are available multiple multiple times throughout the day our Scholars just want to let everybody know that also the learning packets again we want them back and they will be greatest for completion and returning now Grace will start to be given to students on the week of August 17th so we're full be graded starting August 17th our Scholars will begin using schoology for distance learning on August 24th as I mentioned we welcome back our teachers on July 13th they have been gone training on schoology I will let everybody know schoology is serious is somewhat similar to Google Classroom which we use in the springtime at the end of our 1920 school year but schoology he's a little bit more robust has been banned user friendly and we will have all our teachers will have resources available for students through schoology starting on August 24th during the week of August 17th the teachers will take time to introduce students schoology and also introduced into our families as well we will have videos available on our school website on how to utilize schoology I'm during sport for all our parents and our Scholars as well now can you go back mr. Woods you were yeah meals will start being served on August 5th during the same time that learning packets are being distributed from 8:30 to 10 a.m. attendance is critical please make sure that you are connecting with the teacher returning those learning packets and those attendance at the station form so that way we can make sure that we are counting for your students attendance on a daily basis that is a requirement of the of Arizona is that we continue to take attendance and Report full day attendance and also that we are reporting full day Adventist and half-day absences so again I cannot stress enough the importance of present and engaged in learning during distance learning and that you are returning those learning packets and the attendance attestation form again students will return to campus on September 8th I know we had originally inform parents that we would be welcoming our students on August 17th however with the new we know that's a cobra transom headed in the right direction however you executive order from the governor and Governor Ducey last week asked that schools wait to receive any updates from the county health department to determine whether it's to have students return to on Campus Learning on August 17th now that information is to be released no later than August 7th however as a as the network we decided that August 7th is to posted on August 17th dates so we often and felt that again our students safety our staff safety in our community safety is a button-up most important to us so we thought it was best to give parents enough I'm in to make that adjustment and needed to so that's the reason we push back our start date to September 8th from August 17th to the DM when the department Arizona Department of Health would be Distributing any releasing any information was there were there deadline was August 7th which again was to poster August 17th return date now our site will have limited teacher supervision available now another executive are the executive order is that we need to provide on-site supervision or at-risk students or students that have limited Supervision in the house between the dates of August 17th September 4th now we want you to know that we have left its you have on-site supervision for students at two campuses one campus in Tucson and one campus in the campus elected for on-site suit Vision in Tucson is our Prince location at 1557 West Prince Road and our Phoenix location that we've elected to have on-site supervision is our new campus AMS Avondale we have sent out or we'll be sending out invitations for you to reserve a spot for your child if you need that on-site supervision I do want to let everybody know that the on-site supervision he is available to our at Chris cutest or high needs students as well and also water let everybody know that the off-site supervision our students will be in a classroom monitored by paraprofessionals they will not be receiving any live instruction from teacher all instruction will be delivered by teachers via zoom and schoology so all instruction will be delivered online students that elect to be on site on campus for site supervision they will be working on those learning packets in a classroom while they're being supervised by a paraprofessional we will not be taking attendance we do after you reserve a spot in advance and let us know again invitations that we have sent out but we will not be taking attendance during the on-site supervision so we do encourage you to please make sure that you asked what your student into the building on campus for the on-site supervision on-site supervision is between August 5th and September 4th there is no live instruction happening it is students working independently on learning packets or perhaps joining any Zoom sessions at the just have scheduled throughout the day I'm also I do want to let families know that we will not be offering extended care or after school care or before school care between the dates of August 5th and September 4th on-site supervision is only available during a regular school hours that we would stop if you were back on campus which is 7:55 a.m. to 4 p.m. so please make sure that you make arrangements to have your child stop at 4 p.m. from the campus if you elect to have them or on-site supervision also we do not know if the department County Department of Health will be issuing any new guidance on August 7th please make sure that you have you have other accommodations available and contingency plans for your children if they do and stretches not to have any on-site on supervision for students if they don't feel it deemed safe work to have on-site supervision so we do ask you that to make sure that you have alternate plans should the on-site supervision not be available or have to be discontinued based on the guidance from the Department of Health so again I let everybody know we were going to go do a quick overview of our online program all our online Scholars will also be starting school August 5th and again in a form of distance so they will also be starting with the learning videos and the learning package on August 5th through August 14th now our students again Art Online packets are learning packets in our learning videos will be available on our website that go live on Monday August 3rd or online students and then on August 17th are online Scholars will be switching over to instruction on schoology and using Z or live instruction with a teacher for online students we are available to them those Chromebooks will be distributed between August 3rd and 7th between the hours of 8:30 and 10 a.m. we also. you have limited hot sauce available for families in need and again just a quick reminder meal service begins on Wednesday August 5th so again just a quick reminder to everybody we have made we have changed our start date for on-campus learning to the September 8th as I mentioned earlier because we aren't we have allowed you continue to make election for online or on-campus learning until tomorrow July 31st so if you want to make a swish please contact your campus by tomorrow to let them know of oyster making in with how you're changing your decision also we want to let everybody know that our bathroom sizes on campus have been reviewed and IGM this is because some of our students have offered to be on the online so for coming school year we have reduced to Pasadena classrooms that will allow for some distance in between our students when they are in the classroom you will also be allowing a transition from online to on campus at the end of the semester so you will be given a window later in the semester when you can make that transition if you feel is necessary for your child so because we are continuously having changes in our Oscar's in because we're allowing parents to change their option for the 2021 school year until tomorrow I do want to let you all know that future adjustments mating necessary I'm so please be patient and understanding that your teacher that your student starts the school year with maybe different when we switch back to on-campus on September 8th so I just wanted to let everybody know in advance so that there may be a just teacher assignments that are on September 8th hi Adriana can we before you start meal service can you just repeat we have a lot of questions regarding when learning packets can be picked up not just the first week of school but the second week can you review those dates again for all campus locations starting on August 5th between the hours of 30 and 10 a.m. now learning packets for week 2 will be available on Monday August 10th again between the hours of 8:30 and 10 a.m. learning packets for weeks will be available on Monday August 17th again between the hours of 8:30 and 10 a.m. awesome thank you and then one more before we go on maybe one of the principles can answer we are B are you nice to their particular family Arsenal meet the teacher virtual meet the teacher on resume and at the Avondale campus were planning on doing in person Meet the Teacher Night the week of August 10th several days to accommodate many students and I believe that Sam has Prince back to school or I'm sorry meet the teacher will be on Monday information will be sent out tomorrow thank you guys very much that you'd run it back to you Esther was I don't think we were so as far as our meal service we will be continuing to offer meals to our students even during distance learning time between August 5th and August on sorry September 4th now we do want to remind parents you have not treated at lunch application and you think your child would qualify for free or reduced lunch we do encourage you to complete that application as soon as possible on so that way your child qualify for those benefits starting on one today August the applications are available on all of our campuses also please make sure that you check our web site or website also has a lunch applications available but I do encourage me Beto's application geckos into the school and the meal service on a daily basis will be 8:30 to 10 a.m. now are Phoenix campuses again when you pick your meal between 8:30 and 10 a.m. you will receive breakfast and lunch meal at the same time there's no requirement for you to return at a separate time for the lunch on the day will be given at the same time again or payment please make sure that you visit the front office make those payments or use our meal time application login on our website to make Netflix payments or actually a credit on your student lunch account and just as a reminder are prices for meals at the are on fight as well so for breakfast keys are reduced lunch prices $0.30 are paid price is $1.70 for our lunch meats are reduced price is $0.40 a price is $3.33 but again I encourage you to fill out this application get them to the school at the earliest tomorrow that way we can make sure that your child if they qualify for reduced or free meal that they are sitting. Those benefits as wicked possible and effective on on Wednesday August 5th so again we're starting the school year with distance learning with all our students learning packets available on August 5th or May 30th at 10 a.m. and each Monday thereafter please turn into work on a weekly basis because this again we will be using to track attendance for my students and talking bear learning engagement during distance learning we also asking reminding parents to please make sure that you return the attestation form that will be given to you when you pick up the learning packets as well during the dates of Oz Steven fortunes again for homework completion in grades and also see if I could send in another quick reminder are schoology or switch to schoology with our Scholars is August 24th for distance learning I know our teachers are excited about using schoology so we will use this not only during our distance running but I know and I'm confident that a lot of our teachers will off to continue using the 2021 school year as well now should we have distance learning continue we do we will be making Chromebooks available for our students between the week of August 10th in August 14th so please that we will make Chromebooks available the week of August 10th and pick up time will be again during that meal service time of 8:30 to 10 a.m. right now we are asking that only families in need of a Chromebook you pick one up that week also we will live the limiting the Chromebook distribution 214 family now if you close your is extended beyond the date that we have right now we will be able to make from the Seville student and everything in your family that is an AMS student so  but you start the week of August 10th we will only be allocating one Chromebook for family ASD closure is Extant I'd be on September 8th then we'll make more combustible for each AMS dollar so campus safety procedures I know that again this is the Forefront of everybody's mind and it has been a focus for us here at AMS as well for the last few months we've been together a task force has been working with our school leaders are Community leaders and our executive team as well to solicit input into put together the most the safest plan possible to welcome our students back for the 2021 school year now we utilize for tenants to create Nissan plant for return to campus we are focusing on training and new procedures at all levels we are implementing to consistent safety and sanitation practices on all our campuses effects of math policy Guided by research limited mixing a Scholars while on campus and we utilize the CDC and other health organizations recommendation to put together our safety plan Ultra Stacy with Daffy Scholars and parents again is Focus for us this coming school year we have a health questionnaire and symptom identification do identify trace and isolate covid-19 exposure and symptoms again I can't stress enough the priority the health and well-being of our employees are scholars in our families and it will continue to be a priority for us throughout the school year as we welcome back by Stephen punch first we do want to talk about mass and face covering now due to the guidelines that the CDC has made public and also flew to State and local guidelines we have received mask on face coverings will be required for all staff visitors and parents while on campus we are also asking that are Scholars wear a mask for face covering while on campus also at all-time the only exceptions that they are not required to wear that face mask or face covering he is at lunch time while they're eating or drinking at recess time or when playing Outdoors or when the teacher issues a mouse breaks because we understand and know that wearing a mask for an entire there throughout the day it will be a challenge and is uncomfortable for a dollar so they will have masks bracelets We Do ask that you help us and remind students the importance of wearing those face masks and face coverings to ensure their safety and the safety of others so this is where we're asking our stakeholders to help remind me to dance of the importance of wearing those face covering while on campus to keep them safe Sohail procedures now we are asking parents. to complete a wellness screening at home before dropping off your child at school so please we ask that parents take their child's temperature and check for symptoms related to covid-19 before dropping them that's cool if your child is showing symptoms or has a fever a temperature of 100.4 or higher we ask that you keep your child at home and just call them absent without date please remember to call let them know that they will be out so we are also asking that are Scholars that you have a 2 V Mouse the available for them to ensure that they have one every single day when it comes to campus I'm actually we also you make sure that CPAC at least you everyday and they're back up when it comes to school did they misplaced one or lose one while on campus they have that second Mast on hand in the backpack utilize if needed ask that you conduct home screens at home before you drop off your student also if your student is late and arrives after the the start of the school bell which is 7:55 we do ask all our students to Bianca 5 to 7:55 and ready to learn at 7:55 if your student arrive late you will have to sign in your student at the front office while you're signing your student in at the front office to front office taking your child's temperature to ensure that they do not have a fever if they do we will ask you to go ahead and take your child home if they exhibit a temperature of 100.4 or higher or they're exhibiting any 19 symptoms continuing continuing with campus safety procedures there are riding on campus we do want all parents do utilize Driveline process to drop off your students we want to maintain physical distance during this child we want to also control and maintain order a wall on campus and limit the number of individuals on campus so we are asking. please use the drive on to drop off can students and we will have staff available to  students to their classrooms from the vehicle so again we're asking parents to stay in their vehicle when dropping off we will have staff available to them to the classroom you are not going to be allowing parents to walk Scholars to classrooms during this time again I'm sure everybody's safety so we are free everybody's understanding and flexibility with this new guideline for this year is that we're not allowing parents to wash colors to classroom or dismissal time you're our Scholars will remain in and we will have a staff member  them to the pickup area when parents arrive on campus we will not be permitting parents to walk to the classroom to pick up their child we also are ask her parents to be patient the first few weeks because we all know at the start of the year we have the Driveline process it takes time and patience for everybody to be accustomed in Taco mix the routine the please be patient during this time as we all adjusted these new procedures because remember our students will be escorted from the classroom to the Driveline area when you pick them up in advance I thank you for your patience so continuing with scholar screen installers will undergo a daily symptoms and temperature screening conducted by homeroom teacher so when you drop off your student again they'll be escorted to the classroom by staff member while in when entering the classroom the teacher will also be taking taking their temperature on entering the room on scholar that are exhibiting against symptoms or have a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be asked to go to a designated area and wait for parent pick-up and the designated area. There will be an adult supervising them while are waiting for you to pick them up now or more than 15 minutes late as I mentioned earlier will be spring at the front office prior to attending the classroom each class each homeroom teacher will document daily morning streaming and track any student that is has the temperature higher in needs to report to the waiting room area for pickup so students that are exposed to covid-19 or how symptoms of covid-19 the principal will work with the parents directly and communication also with parents as well physical distancing following physical distancing protocols will limit the spread of covid-19 staff staff Scholars and visitors are required to mention physical distancing as much as possible now we are asking everybody to that's why we are asking everybody to where I'm at at all times so and also wear missing and asking parents to unless they have necessary needs to be on campus at they not answer the campus during school hours as well against you keep everybody safe and sound chords to contact the school via phone is you have any specific issues or question rather than coming into the campus flexible arrival and dismissal times will be used to assist with supporting physical discipline guidelines as well bring me your email. so during lunch time on campus if students eat in the lunchroom we are limiting the number of students that will be eating in the lunchroom all students will be spaced out to ensure that there is physical disk between them they will all be facing in One Direction as well and movement in the cafeteria will be in One Direction as well we wants to reduce the missing and the addition between classes as well bar so transitions from one class to another or transition between the classroom to the recessed area will be in one way Direction only so that way we are students are not intercepting any other class in the hallway during transition again always will be one way only in order to ensure The Limited interaction between our students on campus the only time our students will be transitioning from one area to another is special spices science lab or recess or lunch if they're eating lunch in the cafeteria are middle school students will stay in their homeroom and their teachers will be transition from one room to the other again our focus is limiting the missing a student one day on campus we want to make sure that they maintain the same group throughout the day in contact with his so let me see not hand-washing we have been stressing the importance of hand-washing for as all our Scholars since the spring time and we are going to continue to do at this time we will have reminders posted about proper hand-washing technique are teachers in the classrooms will be reminded students of those hand washing techniques as well and we will have hand sanitizer campus available and also in the classroom as well when transitioning and entering the classroom or exiting the bathroom they will be sanitized in your hands so we will have hand sanitizer the classroom for students to use when entering a classroom from when they're returning from recess and outdoor activities or returning from lunch time as well or using the restroom yeah we want to stress the importance of hand washing and friendliness with our students so we can ask parents again to remind students to make sure that they're washing their hands thoroughly and what do they say the 20 seconds that they're using that soap and scrubbing in your hand and thoroughly renting August and again when they returned to the classroom they will be using hand sanitizer or teachers will also be sanitizing any commonly used materials in the classroom High touch Point area such as as well in any material such as pencil sharpeners or e pluribus or tape dispensers those will be sanitized throughout the school day to ensure that we are keeping everybody our students will not be scaring supplies so we do ask parents to send their child to school with supplies needed for use during the school day Health procedures how always in classrooms will be supplied with hand sanitizer families are required to provide water bottle bottle bottle for solars to limit use of water fountain want to let everybody know that we're going to have we're only going to allow the the water fountains and the water refill stations to be used for students to refill their water bottles are discouraging students to drink directly from the Falcons against to ensure everybody stayed common areas will be sanitized throughout the day throughout the day and additional cleaning and sanitation will occur every night on our campuses in on Fridays. end of the week I'm still welcome back Four Seasons the following Monday again equipment supplies in the classroom will not be shared between shared equipment and just will be found highs on a daily basis and throughout the day and as necessary as well health procedures in different areas on campus still classroom so we do want to let everybody parents know that we will have reduced class sizes of all students will be facing the front of the room we have removed any excess Furniture in the classroom in order to space out student desk even more we will not have any small group instruction happening in the classroom or have desks arranged in pots or groups again to ensure that distance between students while they are in the costume Department slice cutest dresses for our students and third fourth and fifth grade students will not rotate between the teacher classrooms actually the teachers will move between the classroom against you reduce the scholar transition in mixing a student we also want to inform our middle school students and families that we will not be utilizing lockers for this school year on till further notice again to ensure the safety of all our students transitions during class during the school day we are limiting the interaction between classes in order to do that we have established One Way Ralph's directional Ralphs on in hallways on other campuses is he an art your since our Scholars will be given these instructions when they return to campus the teachers will be sharing these procedures and routines and practicing with our Scholars when we return to campus against colors will where is coverings or mass during transition times including our teachers as well and all staff at all times students that will be having lunch in the lunch and will face again in One Direction They will be spaced out and also some classes will be eating in the classroom in this is to ensure physical distancing during the meal service we also I want to remind all our Scholars that we are don't want them to be sharing food so please parents we do ask you to remind your child not to share their food are asked another scholar to share their food is especially our little ones as a reminder on a daily basis that they not be sharing food all our lunches are meals will be packaged in a box and don't deliver to the classroom or those that will be eating in the classroom SAS training so now for our staff we are also asking them to follow a screening process before they leave for work and join us on campus we are asking them to review guidelines are guidelines and also sign in that they have no symptoms of carbon 19th and that they do not have a temperature of 100.4 or higher when reporting to campus the purpose of such measures is began to protect the states what does returning to work during a pandemic and to ensure individuals who may have covid-19 remain out of the workplace and have an opportunity to speak appropriate metal Medical Care our employees have received this process and I'm policy demolishing that we understand the policy as well and they have also been these policies and guidelines for our students and our staff have been shared with them during this training the last couple of weeks so again prior to arriving on campus we ask each employee to complete a self-check we ask them that if they are exhibiting some seems that the report or notify I'm sorry HR and remain at home upon arriving a campus again we are asking employees to pass through a screen fish station each staff member will acknowledge that no symptom present and that they are not experiencing any temperature at that time again all our staff members employees are required to wear face masks covering in accordance to the state and local ordinances club sports in Aftercare I do we do want to let remind parents that all activities have been cancelled for quarter one we will we will revisit reinstating these items during quarter to again it'll depend on how covid-19 Trends are going and whether we are able to continue to offer those programs at that time but at this time loves all after-school activities 4th and Aftercare are suspended for quarter one campuses will be offering Aftercare depending on the campus there will be no contest Star Customs you will have limited missing a process for those campuses that will offer after and before care fees will continue to be assessed and should contact the office to register your child for before and accurate to make payments again this is Aftercare before and after care starting September 8th when we return to on Campus Learning that's when we'll make before and after care available but during the time August August 17th through September 4th during the on-site supervision Extended Care will not be available all students will have to be picked up at 4 on site supervision time frame which Yanez August 17th through September 4th facilities and sanitation so we do let everybody All Families know that during this time of covid-19 we have increased our cleaning and disinfection procedures to meet the guidelines set by the CDC OSHA and OSHA a message using a chemical called Q7 which is an approved chemical for disinfecting during the Spring covid-19 pandemic in addition to our current cleaning procedures AMS will institute the following electrostatic leaning on a daily basis basis routine daily nightly cleaning front office disinfecting throughout the day or small area cleaning classroom cleaning and sanitation each classroom will be equipped with hand sanitizer hiding wipes for equipment that door knobs and those High touch points in the classroom deep cleaning will occur each night our maintenance and a porter staff will follow a cleaner rotation plants plan or comment touchpoint areas staff and Scholars that are using shirtspace will clean their individual areas when students are reporting to a special sauce to one of the few times they will transition to another room is during special time we are teachers are allowed allowed in enough time at the end of last for area to be sanitized in between classes visiting the specials classroom hand-washing again we are stressing the importance of hand-washing with our students or using sanitizing when they're transitioning in the new classroom every time again the intro new customer transition back to the classroom from being on the playground or the lunchroom they will be has sanitizing your hands playground equipment will be each day Scholars will wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before and after so as part of his plan for reopening detailed processes were developed in the event of a scholar or staff member exhibiting symptoms related to covid-19 or testing positive for covid-19 or in close contact an individual who had a positive test for covid-19 all state and local laws will be followed in notifying required agencies while maintaining confidentiality if principal and network officials will follow established response on exposure policy so if we have a staff member that is testing positive for covid-19 of course we will notify those families that have impacted directly we will communicate that with those families that again at steering to privacy laws and on confidentiality as well. Please know that we will be in constant communication with parents and notify them as Nessa Siri when these things come up or we have it again on staff member or a scholar that says positive the principal the network infant which team will work to evaluate relevant information and provide recommendations for when a scholar or employee and return to campus as if hated by specific circumstances quarantine of individual Scholars or staff metal partial or full classroom closures may be ordered in the case of a wide outbreak a school-wide closure maybe order at the direction of the AMS leadership which direction from the local health agency mess has developed academic plan to keep Scholars learning during this time so again that is why we are introducing our Scholars to schoology starting August 17th and implementing schoology on August 24th should we resort to remote learning for a school wise closure or a classroom closure and we need to have even starting remotely during the course of the school year summary report income confirmation of positive covid-19 cases within a school we will mandate quarantine. Of 10 days after a positive test questionnaire will be conducted when with parents teachers and staff include details relevant to contact racing Des location of a scholar staff on campus and other specific details before returning to campus if Scholars staff or staff are in close contact with someone on campus with 19 is closed contact can be determined quarantine will be limited if close contact cannot be determined a full class maybe quarantine staff or Scholars affected will be known find notification may send to one or multiple classroom if appropriate return from quarantine is 14 days and several days with out symptom we will ask on those that are before returning that a health questionnaire may be completed contact after contact definition physical contact or 15 minutes or longer with 1660 between the individuals so close contact definition is physical contact or 1/5 or 15 minutes or longer within six feet of the person we will identify those with covid-19 and not be revealed by law so we do just want to let you know that we cannot reveal who the person is if someone does test positive for covid-19 you will not be releasing those individuals may YouTube confidentiality and by law the weather online or on-campus we are prepared for all circumstances to deliver stuff and safe environment to all our enemies children we are looking forward to an we are asking them to not return to work and to sit with their child on the computer and that's not our expectation that all if you chose on Campus Learning we are providing distance learning and with that opportunity along with the you have a recorded video that students can watch it anytime to get assistance with the lesson we also have varying Zoom hours so that they do have the opportunity to get their face to face and you'll get the zoom schedule teachers will be available from your specific campus Miss Rodriguez we also have a few questions about book deposit these or those changing because of our push back and start date send a text message to pozza fees are not being adjusted those will remain the same but again are our textbooks will be available to our students when we return on September 8th to on campus now during schoology are schoology platform will have the checks are online textbooks available in the resources page and also we have enough by since it's for all our students whether I'm on the is there part of the eye online program for the on-campus program each student will receive a license to have a license for every student for online textbook but as far as our text books that will remain the same I didn't want to also remind parents. is refundable when your child withdrawals from Amazon or Mister Achilles out of AMS at the 8th grade level and also. C rolls over to the following on school year thank you for receiving a lot of questions about classroom capacity in numbers so as I stated earlier our classroom capacities will be much smaller right now we're making sure that our classroom do not exceed 80% capacity on an actually worst thing that again because most of our families have elected the online program on what do you much smaller classes than 80% on Arkham we've also received quite a few questions about ClassDojo ClassDojo is connected directly to each campus to inquire about ClassDojo to reach and they will be able to connect you with the information that you need to connect your Scholars class dojo it also seems as though there are a lot of questions that are tailored towards specific schools and school leaders so those questions for those families are going to be addressed by each visual School leader I would just highly recommend you reach out those campuses phone number or email or in person any other when we ask questions that we can address at this time will we still have our families with us Adriana can you review attendance distance learning with and then what a tenant for look like when they're on schoology or online learning attendance during distance 5th and September 4th the way we are using our attendance to track attendance for our Scholars during that time. wear uniforms again we want to make sure that the yard feeling that there any school in Iron Man and also all their peers will also be required to wear a school uniform and also they get us actually made it to wearing the uniform should they transition back to the on-campus learning at some point in time during the school year yeah really great question about attending Sunday wants to know why are our requirements or half-day or full-day and finish on the attendance reporting sheet that is a good question so it varies by grade level so for each grade level Stan the daily attendance or purchase engagement and learning berries on for kindergarteners it is two hours of learning engagement for our first through third grade I believe it's four hours or are sports news 5th grade how much is 5 hours in our middle school students it is US 6 hours of learning engagement on a daily basis and learning engagement include independent practice on learning packets it includes reading reading a book as we do ask our sellers to read 30 minutes daily so I can prove that time it includes any Zoom sessions that they joined with the teacher or any one on one meetings with a teacher as well so all of those times that they're engaged in some type of learning counselors for those hours I work with this be available for all our Spanish-speaking family family so yeah so what we're doing is collecting all the questions that we have received throughout this webinar and we will put them on a we will make them available for all our families with the responses and both in English and in Spanish I got a question regarding arrival and drop off times so during the first week or two we anticipate and ask our parents to be a little patient as students and staff are at committing themselves to arrival and drop off at the beginning of the school year we do anticipate this being a little less I'm a time frame this year due to lower students on campus but we do ask that all parents remain patient with us for the first two weeks as we get to the new process we do have a question about on Campus Learning how will families get the times and dates for the the zoom distance or assistance with packets so our schools are School leaders right now working with their teachers to put together those office our schedules I'm in they will be shared with family as early as tomorrow if not Monday and they will be posted on Class Dojo by all our school so grandparents have that access know when the teachers will be available each day Scholars the answer questions or requests assistance on those learning packet in the reminder that we do have learning videos that accompany those are in fact it's available on our website those videos become available on Monday August 3rd $4 to access at any time we do have a question about our newly revised standard staggered pickup times for dismissal family is asking me pick up your kindergartener when they pick up their third and seventh grader so yeah so if you have a scholar I know we have two dismissal times 3/4 are hated to students in 4400 8th grade students if you will have a scholar and a great fan of heated to they are welcome to stay on campus until that for dismissal when the older scholar is in the the question is Rihanna is for you or any principal the chime in a parent asking how if if parent works or both parents in the homework How can I support their child doing doing school work all day when they are working 8 hours a day perhaps we can get some ideas or suggestions vijesti I do want to remind parents that we have the learning video so if there is an adult in the home with a child with the scholar they can help them access those videos The Scholar is an online color in the parent is working again if there is an adult supervising the student they can assist a student in accessing those videos and all all lessons all life lessons that are being provided on would you be exempt for online students will be recorded and made available on schoology for online students so again you will have access to those learning videos at a later time if the scholar is not able to join the live lesson do we have any other suggestions or ideas for pair from our school leaders on how we can support our Scholars when the parent is not in the Homan and they are out at their place of employment Bill some of our South Mountain families in basic kind of talked about working in cohorts with each other they've been trying to coordinate scheduled to work with each other so if you have no family
