good morning saying 6 today is Friday and I've prepared a little video review for you of the kinetic energy and potential energy lesson we've got over it many times but we're about to get on things changes say the well let's say this year is where the Magnetic North Pole is right now my finger is always going to Point North well if it does this and then the magnetic pole moves to my other ear it's going to be close to the same thing right but not exactly right here if it's pointing towards that here I'm trying to go here you see the difference right so is the Earth's magnetic field changes Direction compasses Point change magnetic objects have two poles if you look at the drawing you've got North and South got north and south and they're sorry those are both north over there let's do that again Take 2 you looked over here you see the magnets have a north and a South magnetic potential energy is greatest when two objects are closest together or when I have magnetic field is and that just makes sense right magnetic potential energy is a measurement of the strength of the magnetic fields ability to move something that's magnetic they demonstrated this in class if we put those little chunks of iron iron filings near a magnet you can see where the magnetic field is physically it moves items so magnetic field demonstrates where the magnetic potential energy is electrical potential energy we talked about magnetic potential energy having a north and a South if you look over there you can see that Alexa potential energy as a similar thing it's got a plus and a minus and
