This week, we are working on Study Island and Epic Books.  The AZ Standards are as follows:  4.L.4.a; 4.L.4.b; 4.W.1.a; 4.W.1.b; 4.W.2.a; [email protected]; 4.W.3.a; 4.W.3.b; 4.L.1.f; 4.L.1.h; 4.W.5; 4.RL.5
If your student is reading any book, they should be taking notes on it - particularly:

There will be a project later which will use these things.

Week of 1/13 - 1/17/20

This week we will be taking Benchmark tests in Reading and Math. Additionally, students will be working on Study Island Standards. Please allow your student to work k. These at home to finish any tests. AZ standards 4.RI.1; 4.RL.1; 4.W.5; 4.L.1.g; 4.L.5.b, 4.W.1.c.,, 4.W.2.c, 4.W.3.c, 4.L.6, 4.RL.2, 4.RI.7
Read for 30 minutes each evening

Homework: Weekend 1/10-1/12/20

Homework for the weekend:
Please work or My Path for 30 minutes
Then, work on the AZ Standards for this past week for at least 30 minutes (finishing tests as you go).

Homework: Monday - Friday (1/6 - 1/10/20)

Parents,
All week - and for the next few weeks - we will be working in Study Island to help students bring up grades and scores.
This weeks' AZ standards: 4.RI.4, 4.L.6, 4.L.1.d, 4.L.2.a, 4.RL.3, 4.RI.9, 4.RL.9, 4.W.7, 4.W.8. Please have your student review the lesson. Then do the Practice for a Silver Ribbon. Repeat the Test for a Blue Ribbon (at least 70%.) They should record in Planner and bring to me.

Note to Families:

We will have Winter Break from December 21, 2019 through January 5, 2020.  When we return on Monday, January 6th, we will begin Benchmark testing.
 
Also, there is Study Island homework over the Beak that will help prepare students for our testing.  Hopefully, all students will have a chance to log on, practice and take the tests.
