AMS Avondale Principal Message

So much is happening on campus and we are thrilled to have each of you to experience it with us. Our first quarter is ending and we are jumping right into second quarter ready to learn and have fun! This month started with interim assessments, where our scholars demonstrated how much they’ve learned so far this year. Their test scores are definitely worth celebrating!! And, although it still feels like summer outside, here at AMS Avondale we are gearing up for a month full of fall activities and events! From Parent Teacher Conferences and the Scholastic Book Fair, to our Fall Break and our Annual Fall Festival, we are excited to keep the momentum going! Let’s not forget sports! Our Lady Tigers Volleyball Team is on a roll and will be representing our school in the State Playoffs! Way to go Team!! We are continuing our goal of creating a culture where our school and the community are able to come together and build the ‘village’ for our scholars. I truly look forward to learning and creating memories together as an AMSA Family as the school year continues. Bring on Quarter 2 (and the cooler weather!).
