There will be no homework for 5-7th grades unless classwork is not completed. 

(5th grade has a project that will take around 2-3 days. 7th grade has a METAR worksheet). 6th grade is doing REWARDS and a Review this week. 

Review worksheets #24-#26 for a quiz #27 next week. 

Make sure we are all on Class dojo! I post a lot more assignments and updates on class dojo because most families are and it is easier to reach out there.

6A and 6B will have their physical variables assessment on Wednesday next week. (It might even move to Thursday depending on the length of the presentations we are doing). 

 

6C is schedule to take theirs NEXT Friday, but might move to the following Monday. 

6A, 6B, and 6C will have a test on Friday. 

 

I decided to chunk up their information for tests now. This means instead of having a few LARGE tests with a lot of information, I'm going to give many SMALLER tests with less information. This it to try and reduce students feeling overwhelmed. 

Hello Scorpion Families!

 

I am currently working on getting online access to our textbook for Biology. I have our school registered but we need to purchase a premium code for student access. 

 

I emailed Ms. Johnson to see what we can do about getting a premium code. 

 

If you would like a student to have a textbook at home, I can sign a few out. I have about 150 6-7th graders and only 40 books. I can only sign out a few because I must make sure I have enough here in my class in case someone forgets theirs. Please let me know if you would like your child to have a book but only if you feel they need it. Again, I only have 40 books for 150 students so I cannot sign out more than 5. My rosters cap at 35. 

 

I do have one book that will be signed out already. (That leaves 4 left). If you feel you need a book at home, please have a book cover for it to minimize any potential damage to the book! I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

 

Once we get an access code for the students, they can return the books back to me.
