Every week students are required to spend time outside of my art class drawing anything school appropriate that interests them: whether that's drawing loved ones, pets, mythical creatures, characters from Fortnite, experimenting with typography... Anything!
Each sketchbook assignment is graded out of 15 points and counts for a total of 10% of your scholar's grade in this art class. I ask the students to spend 30 minutes on each assignment. The rubric for these assignments is attached below!
