2)This week for your student’s reading homework you have the very important task of disguising a turkey before he (or she) is eaten for Thanksgiving Dinner!
You and your student may disguise him however you please, they should be undetectable! Then please write about your turkey’s disguise using the sentence starter “I’m not a turkey. I’m a _________.”
If you need some ideas please follow the link to watch the video of the story we read in class, Turkey Trouble. In this story the turkey wears many disguises to avoid being eaten, but I know our students can come up with even more creative costumes!
We will present these hidden turkeys on Wednesday, November 27th, which is also our last day of school for the week. I cannot wait to see the disguises our students create! Happy Hiding!
