Homework: Study Island - Decompose Fractions and any purples from 2020. ALSO - if your student hasn't brought in 3x5 index cards before, please have them bring some tomorrow.

Homework tonight: Study Island - Read and Write Numbers. Make sure this is done before moving to other assignments (some students DO need to catch up). Students must also do the LESSON and flash cards. Not just the practice.

Homework: The rest of the sheet that was assigned yesterday. Please make sure that your student is NOT using a calculator; and that they are showing the work. They are doing two digit multiplication. They should also work in study island.

Study Island: Angle Measurement and Weather Measurement in Study Island (80% or better)

Angle Drawings.  This requires a protractor.  If you do not have one, your student will need to come before school or during lunch.

We didn't finish the lesson today so there is no homework except for people who didn't finish the holiday packet. A grade letter will be deducted for each day late.

Winter Break Packet.  You must do 4 pages in the packet.  The multiplication sheet without any pictures counts as two.  (If you do that one you only need to do 3).  The packet is in a zip file and may need to be "unzipped" to print the pages.

Tonight's homwork is another word problem packet. They may skip 2,3, and 5 on page 3 and 1 and 4 on page 4. That means they have 15 word problems. Please encourage them to use the key word chart I gave them. EACH belongs in both multiplication and division.

Homework tonight: Money problems that you copied from the slides. Study Island - 80% or better

Homework over the break: If you have a computer or tablet at home, students need to get blue and gold ribbons on Study Island for the following assignments (if they have not done so already. Have them show you): Place Value, Rounding, Addition and Subtraction.

Homework tonight: Students are to retake the practices for Place Value and Rounding until they get an 80 or higher. They should also do the Elapsed Time worksheet.

Homework tonight: students were given assignments they were missing. They need to complete as many as possible tonight as we will have homework the rest of the week. They are due no later than Friday.

For the project they should use the site: https://bit.ly/mrb-precipitation to do the assignment. They MUST click the next button at the bottom of each slide to see the next type of precipitation. The foldable should have the title at the top and each type of precipitation we talked about in class: rain, snow, sleet, freezing rain, and hail

Writing / Reading

Students will complete the artistic repose document titled "Making a Difference"

 

Students will create some image of the person who has made a difference in their own lives. The image can also be a photograph or a picture cut from a magazine.

 

They will then write 3-4 sentences explaining how this person made a difference in their own life.
