This class has two specific sections: 8th grade literature and 8th grade composition. Students will receive separate grades for each. Mr. Roddy teaches both sections.All homework is posted to this page. Homework will be posted on a weekly basis, but parents and students are encouraged to check it daily because occasionally teachers will make changes.

I sent home students with their Good Earth examinations. They should work on these during the weekend and complete at least two question responses. They have until the end of Monday to finish them.
You completed speech is due Wednesday, May 8th. Speeches will be delivered from May 8th until May 10th. There will be no extensions given for this assignment. For more information on how this assignment will be graded, refer to the attached document marked "Social Issue Speech."
