Spelling Assignment
Students will write the spelling words in alphabetical order, and 3X each in their spelling packet.

Reading Club: The Chocolate Touch
We will be reading one chapter per day in the book, The Chocolate Club. Answer questions to show what you know about the book. These will be completed in class but students may bring the book home to read during the week. The book must be returned to school each day.

A book report based on independent reading is due on Friday. Students should read at least 30 minutes each evening.

Students will check a book out of the class library and read over the week. A book report form will be assigned and students should fill this out over the week.
The book report is due on Friday. Please write in complete sentences and check for correct spelling.

Students will check out a book from the class library. Read the book and enter the time read daily in the reading log.
Complete the book report form.
Submit the book report on Thursday and turn in the borrowed book.

Students will read a book they have chosen from the class library and will complete the book report form they have been assigned in class. The book report form and the library book are due on Friday, August 6. At this time, students will be able to check out another book from the class library.
