**Students must write a paragraph about what they did over the weekend that just past weekend.**
- Idea Map (completed yesterday in class): Students used this map to lay out their opening sentence, closing sentence, and list four things that did over the weekend. Then they put those events in order by using transitions words (first, next, then, finally).
- Paragraph Writing: Use the lined paper (stapled to the idea map) to write a paragraph about what they did this past weekend, using what they wrote on their idea map.
**I created a sample of how the idea map and paragraph should look.**
