Bio

Kimberlin Garcia (Mrs. Garcia) is a Hybrid Math Interventionist for grades K-8. She has over 12 years of teaching experience in the classroom, teaching math for various grades 3-8. She originally from a small community in northern Arizona on the Navajo Nation, but she considers Tucson her home for the past 15 years. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Elementary Education with an emphasis in math education. Huge Wildcats fan! Then, from Northern Arizona University,  she obtained a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership: School Leadership K-12. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, movies, playing sports and a huge Beyonce fan. She is very passionate about math and eager to begin this year’s journey supporting students, colleagues, parents, and families!
