Welcome to my MS Math class!

Greetings! My name is Philip Lee, a middle school online math teacher. So excited to be with you

guys here at AVA! I studied Economics at the University of Chicago, Japanese Economy at

Waseda University in Tokyo, and Economy of South America and Spanish at Universidad de

Guadalajara in México.  This is my 7th year teaching Junior High Math and 2nd year with AMS.

Before I joined AVA, I have taught in Arlington ISD, Fort Worth ISD in Texas, and Department of

Education in Hawaii and private school in Korea. Before I became an educator, I worked at

various different international companies and traveled more than 1 million miles in my life.

My education not only helped me to have more choices in my profession, but it also gave me a

chance to travel the world and meet many different people.  Education will always give you more

choices in our lives.  Moreover, I had to overcome the same difficulties and shortcomings that all

other people have, but remember, “If there is a will, there is a way.”
