About Me

Hello! My name is Katie Petersen. I'm so excited to be a part of the AMS team!I was born and raised in Arizona. I attended the University of Arizona where I graduated with a degree in Spanish and Portuguese. I come to AMS with five years of teaching experience, most recently at Summit School of Ahwatukee where I taught middle school Spanish. Before my time at Summit, I worked at BASIS Phoenix Central as a 4th grade teacher as well as the middle school Spanish teacher.
