Albina Valiakhmetova (Ms.V) is a Russian teacher at the Academy of Math and Science in Glendale.  She comes from Russia. She taught English at a high school in Russia and then Russian at Casper College in the US.  She got her B.A. degree in teaching foreign languages and her M.A. degree in Linguistics from Bashkir State University in Russia.

Albina thinks that learning another language helps develop communication skills, expands the view of the world and gives us an advantage in the global market. She tries to provide a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for her students. Her goal is to teach to the needs of every student, so that all learners feel capable and successful.

Her interests include Russian history, culture and literature of the 19th and 20th century.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking (Russian food) and traveling. Her favorite travel places are Russia, Mexico and the USA.
