Meet Mr. Trip Horn

Trip received his Bachelor’s Degree from Valdosta State University in 2014 and is currently pursuing a  Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Western Governors University. He received a Certificate of Excellence from his university focusing on lesson implementation. In addition, Trip is a certified Teaching English as a Foreign Language instructor and received a certificate of exceptionalism from his program.  He has lived in Georgia, Arizona, Wyoming, Colorado and Thailand. His teaching experience started in Thailand where he taught English to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students. Trip taught 3rd grade at AMSPA last year and is excited to move into the 2nd grade role for the 2020-2021 school year..

 

Mr. Horn moved to Arizona in 2019 with his wife and dog. Trip is an avid outdoors-man and enjoys hiking, fly fishing, and exploring in northern Arizona. He is also a fan of college football. Trip also has a yellow lab named Wilkes who joins him on his adventures.

 

Mr. Horn possess an outgoing, energetic teaching style that garners and maintains student attention. He is excited to implement cutting edge educational practices and instill creative learning in his classroom. Trip looks forward to helping students grow emotionally, socially, and cognitively.
