Mr. Larry Moore's Bio
Larry D. Moore II is a middle school English, theater and speech teacher, teaching artist and musician out of Des Moines, Iowa. After an early start in performing by way of church and the Des Moines Youth Choir, he went on to Roosevelt high school where he was a three year All-State tenor and a member of the chamber and show choirs while participating in drama productions and competing in speech events as a part of the thespian's club. After receiving his bachelor’s in psychology with minors in theater, statistics and education from Truman State, Larry went on to get his Masters in Education with specialty areas in English, theater and speech and rhetoric from Drake University. He has coached football and poetry teams, taught classes from pre school to middle school hip-hop and music creation camps and continues to teach, act, perform and compete as a part of his artistic communities.
