Welcome! My name is Ms. Cynthia Verelien and I am your child's 4th grade English/Language Arts Teacher. This is my second year at AMS Camelback and I am so excited to be working with our wonderful fourth graders in order to help them strive towards greater potential.
I was born in Boston, Massachusetts and spent the better part of my life in Atlanta, GA. I am a big supporter of the arts, having studied and performed for 14 years of my life. I graduated from Georgia State University in December 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and concentrations in Literature and Secondary Education. I moved to Phoenix, Arizona in June 2017 and am enjoying exploring this city.
This is my second year in the classroom and I have been having a wonderful time building bonds with my students and honing my skills as an educator. I hope to instill a love of learning and a passion for education in my classroom. We will continuously push ourselves each day in hopes of reaching new academic goals.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you need anything! I look forward to working with all of you to make this an amazing year!
