I have been interested in Russia and Eastern Europe for the entirety of my life. I pursued my interest in Russian language and culture by finding opportunities to live, work, and study abroad in Russia and other Russian-speaking regions of the world. This past year I taught Russian at two high schools in the Scottsdale Unified School District. I have also taught Russian at The Ohio State University, Middlebury Language Schools, the Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive, and the University of Toronto. I have a Masters degree in Slavic Languages and Literatures and a Bachelors degree in Russian. I have certifications in foreign language pedagogy and secondary school teaching.
