Maya Kashtelyan, AMS Music Teacher and Board Member

Maya Kashtelyan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Theory and Piano Pedagogy from the Mogilev College of Music in Belarus.  She also holds a Master’s Degree in Piano Pedagogy, Choral Conducting, and Music Education from the State University of Belarus.  In addition to her academic degrees, Mrs. Kashtelyan also is a Certified Suzuki Piano teacher. She has over 30 years’ experience teaching piano and music theory and has been at Academy of Math and Science since the beginning and developed the music curriculum that we have today.  She also serves as a Board Member for the last 10 years.
