Welcome to 4th Grade Math & Science!

Hello everyone! My Name is Mr. Crump, and this year at AMS Desert Sky I will be your student's 4th grade Math and Science teacher! I am a graduate of Washington State University with a degree in Human Development and Psychology, and I am currently earning my Masters of Science in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. I have been working as a teacher for the last 3 years, and have been the head of several programs involving homeless and at risk youth. Through my experiences and past jobs, I have had the pleasure of working with so many amazing people, and I can tell you now, the students at Desert Sky are my favorite so far!
I am passionate about giving back to the community because I know that without the teachers and mentors I had, I would not have ended up where I am now. That is my personal goal for the school year: to inspire your children to become lifelong learners and find their passion, academic or otherwise. I am very excited to continue to get to know everyone am looking forward to a phenomenal year!
Students are to have their homework agenda signed EVERY NIGHT by a parent or other adult in the household! It is your child's responsibility to ask you to check their planner, see what homework they have, and then sign to show me that you understand what they should be doing each night. They are graded on their participation in this, so it is extremely important that these come back signed each day!
Class Expectations
Every day we should show up to class prepared. That means:
1. We have our Homework Agenda
2. We have our notebook for each subject
3. We have our writing utensils
