Principal - Ms. Ashley Kane
Ashley Kane was born in Indiana and was raised in the beautiful hills of Brown County. In Indiana, her grandmother, the author, inspired her to take her love of reading and learning further to make it into a lifelong passion. After growing up in the country, she knew she wanted to trade in the hills for the lights of the city leading her to southern Indiana.
At the University of Southern Indiana, she received a dual degree in Elementary Education and French as well as a passion for teaching diverse students. She moved to Phoenix after joining Teach for America to continue her love of teaching in the desert. While in Phoenix, Mrs. Kane attended Arizona State University and received a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction focusing on supporting bilingual students.
After many years in Phoenix, Mrs. Kane returned to Indiana and led in the public school system while completing an additional Masters from Columbia University in New York City in Educational Leadership and Administration. Finally, the call of the desert, the culture of the west, and the heat from the valley of the sun are all bringing Mrs. Kane back to now serve as your Principal.
Mrs. Kane believes in an equal opportunity for all to learn, explore, and grow not only as a scholar but also as a citizen. Without supportive environments, our students will be unable to flourish; therefore, my role as your principal, is to ensure we build and sustain an environment where your student can challenge the status quo and lead by example.

Assistant Principal - Ms. Monique Martinez
Dean of Students - Mr. Marcos Quintana
I was born in raised in Phoenix, Arizona and I am excited to continue educating within the Glendale community. I graduated from Carl Hayden Community High School and quickly found that the education field was the path for me. I graduated Phoenix College and Arizona State University with a focus on secondary education. After teaching in the classroom for several years I returned to school to focus on educational administration, where I quickly learned that supporting the school outside a classroom was the next step in growing professionally.
I believe that all students can exceed expectations and can learn something new every day. I look forward to supporting the Glendale community and all the families who make it a great place to live.

Instructional Coach - Ms. Patricia Dinsmore
My name is Patricia Dinsmore and I am an Instructional Coach at the Academy of Math and Science Glendale. This is my 2nd year as an instruction coach at AMSG.I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. I have been in the educational field for 34 years and cannot imagine doing anything else! I lived, and taught, overseas for 6 years, and believe that those experiences were very beneficial to my role as a teacher/instructor. Due to my time overseas, I am TEFL and TEFL-C certified. I have 8+ years’ experience as an ESL teacher. I moved to Phoenix, in June 2019, from New Orleans, Louisiana. I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to work at AMSG. My husband and I packed up our school bus and moved from New Orleans to Phoenix, without so much as a glance back, because I knew AMSG was the place I needed to be! In my spare time I love to travel, write, read, bake, bike with my husband, and walk our two adorable cats (Frodo and Felix) on leashes around the park we live in. I am excited to be working with your scholars at AMSG!”Let me know if you need anything else….thanks!Patricia.
