Course Description
My name is Ms. Maldonado. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. I proceeded to get my Master of Arts from ASU as well. During my master’s program, I interned at South Mountain community college as a writing tutor. I also worked at Grand Canyon University as an instructional assistant for English 101. This is my second year as a middle school teacher.
I have a passion for enriching the lives of students through English Language Arts. I am fully dedicated to the success of your students. I strongly believe that Language Arts may be difficult at times. I also believe that every child can become strong writers and mindful readers.
In my class, students will be challenged to think logically and critically. They will be asked to sharpen their writing skills and use academic language in and out of the classroom.
I am looking forward to an amazing year!
