1st Grade - Mrs. Edlund (1A)

Welcome to First Grade!

My name is Mrs. Edlund. I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology (emphasis in Social Work). I have been working with children for the past 30 years; my experience includes experience working with Children’s Services, next as a mother, day care owner, and homeschool teacher, and then as a foster case manager. This is my first year teaching at the Academy of Math and Science Flower campus.

I have a passion for working with and helping young children grow and develop (both academically and socially). I am dedicated to your child’s success. While the journey of going to school for a full day without your parent is not always easy, I want to assure you that your child will be cared for and nurtured to the best of my ability every day. Throughout this year, your child will be challenged to learn, care for others, and follow directions. Thank you in advance for your support and help at home.
