Course Description
In my class we focus on these areas:
...becoming more proficient in the English language by developing better oral language skill
...learning to become readers for the purposes of information and exploration
...using stronger comprehension strategies
...acquiring a stronger grasp on the rules of grammar...
...applying what we learn to improve our expression in writing.
We also take time to learn about our nation and the world around us and how history and current affairs affect us as a people.
My goal for my students is for them to be a person of great character by becoming a productive member of society, and to use their talents to make the world a better place for generations to come.
