Students are to fill in a "gathering chart" like the one on page 202 of the Write Source text book.  The chart will be provided and be returned on 1/9 completed to receive full credit.  The idea is to help students think of as much information as possible to use in their essay: Compare and Contrast any two singers of any genre (category).  For students who lose their copy of the Gathering Chart, one has been attached here.
