Assignment
Good afternoon parents. Most students have an essay to finish. While I try not to give homework on weekends, the young people had a lot of time to get this work done and did not use their class time very well. Thank you for your help in getting those assignments done.
Additionally, next week is going to see a heavy reading load for our novels, Jekyll and Hyde for 7th grade and I Am Malala for 6th. While there is no reading homework, it would really help the students if they got a start during this long weekend.
Lastly, I just got a new list of Study Island priorities so I will be revising the calander this weekend, but the good news is that we won’t have to try and fly through as many every week.
Thank you guys for all of your hard work and help. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Mr. Moore

Assignment
Chapter 8 for 6a and 9 for 6b. No summary, but we need to come ready to take a quiz.
Study Island are Technical Meaning and Meaning and Tone.
A study Island note. Students will be responsible for 4 study islands a week plus two makeups for the next four weeks. I will send this weeks 4 and makeups shortly. Remember, students have to have an 80% and they have until the end of the week have all for the week done. As a rule of thumb, it would help to have two done by the end of Tuesday night and the other two and any makeups by Thursday. Class time is given on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
