Assignment
This is an important week for students as it represents the start of the new quarter and the opportunity to start fresh! With that in mind, all of our "Catcher in the Rye" activities will be due this Friday. They are worth tons of points, and I've conveyed to students the importance of doing well on these assignments.
Today, they started a class project on the book. Many of them are working in groups, so they may not be able to work on it at home, but I am including the project descriptions so you can check in with students and see where they are at. Some are making physical copies and some are doing power points or 3D models online.
For Friday, they need to be sure to bring their chapter comprehension questions and "6 Signposts" packet. They will be able to use these notes along with the book on the exam, which will be given Friday.
On Friday, they need to turn in: the exam, the chapter questions, the 6 signposts packet and the project. These assignments represent the opportunity to start the quarter strong, so please check in with them and help them, or reach out to me if needed! Thanks.
