Description
Russian class is designed for students with little or no background in Russian language and culture. In this course, students will gain proficiency in the Russian language, moving from the Novice Low to Novice Mid / Novice High level in the lower grades, and to the Novice High / Intermediate Low level in the upper grades (see ACTFL proficiency guidelines for more details).

Communicative goals include everyday expressions, numbers and counting, colors and shapes, school and home, travel and weather, and more! Students will learn about Russian culture through games, movies, songs, and stories. As students progress with Russian in future years, they will have opportunities to increase their knowledge of these subjects and continue to increase their proficiency. Russian class will be a dynamic and enjoyable part of each student's day and I look forward to sharing it with you!

Russian 6B meets on Wednesdays at 12:30-1:20PM.
