6th-ART TRACK PROGRAM Assignments

This next sketch assignment will focus on the element of color. Students briefly observed and discussed the Color Wheel. Students are to somehow recreate the Color Wheel. Grading will be based on correct color placement (12 colors!), composition, creativity, craftsmanship and completeness. Students also need to have an object that represents them for Project 1.

This week's sketch will focus on the element of line. Students discussed zentangles designs and were asked to recreate these patterns within an animal of their choice. Students must add black or gray to their designs. Grades will be based on creativity, composition, creativity and completeness. 

Students observed and briefly discussed the Element of Color. In their sketchbooks students are to uniquely recreate the color wheel. Students will be graded on composition, creativity, completeness, and correct color placement. Sketchbooks will be worked in during Monday and Tuesday's class times, however, incomplete sketches must be worked on at home. Color wheel sketches are due at the beginning of Thursday's art class.
