Our culture is one that is both autonomous and collaborative; challenging yet extremely rewarding. We hire only the most motivated, intelligent, and mission-oriented team players we can find, and expect our teachers to be dedicated and set an example of passion and hard work for their students.
The AMS network offers regular opportunities for professional development and career advancement. New teachers complete comprehensive training prior to the start of the school year, and all staff are frequently invited to participate in PLC's and follow-up coaching. Since we are steadily expanding our existing schools and opening additional campuses, we have an ever-increasing need for additional staff. We will need to hire another 10-20 back office employees for our network's business office over the next 3-5 years to support our growth, and the same number of school leaders including instructional coaches, lead teachers, assistant principals, and principals.
Another central aspect of our culture is that we sincerely appreciate and encourage feedback, both from students and staff. Our teachers, students, and parents take periodic surveys and our principals always welcome questions or concerns.
We are excited to continue adding new talent to our organization! Together we can meet the needs of our students and improve education, one child at a time.
“As a new teacher at AMS, I have to share my own opinions…I have never had a job where I loved everyone I worked with, until AMS. I can honestly say that the staff and teachers we have at AMS are some of the best people. We genuinely care about the students and their success…and try to do what is best for every student.”
